Scholarship Overview
Scholarship awards will be based on need and potential academic talent in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) as conveyed through the application and supporting documents. The goal of the Oliveira Foundation is to provide scholarships to individuals pursuing STEM careers who demonstrate financial need.
Scholarships for first year students are available at the following amounts:
2-year program - $2,000 4-year program - $4,000
Scholarships for current post-secondary students are available at the following amounts:
2-year program (2nd year) - $2,000 4-year program (3rd year) - $4,000-$6,000
4-year program (2nd year) - $4,000 4-year program (4th year) - $6,000-$8,000
Scholarships apply only to tuition, room and board expenses.
Eligibility
Students must have applied to and plan to attend a post-secondary institution within the United States for the scholarship year they are applying.
Students must reside in the United States and be a current high school senior at or have graduated from a high school in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area.
Students must demonstrate a family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) $180,000 or less.
